In BOARDING! Apple urgently needs a forever home!!

Plymouth, NH

Hello Beautiful People!

My name is Apple and I am just like the fresh-picked fruit I am named after—gorgeous, delicious and good for you! I’m a handsome 2-year old, 65 lb dude and more than anything in this world, I want a forever family. I’m hoping after you read about me you’ll see that’s you!

My foster said I am “a sweet loving boy whose basic skill set is great! In just a few weeks he has shown great progress with his attention span. Once he spends some time with you, he realizes he can trust you and is playful and affectionate. This poor boy has been through so much and it’s amazing – once he decompresses, you see how he has so much love to give.” Hey! That’s me they’re talking about and it’s all true!

Speaking of my previous owner, they were a bad apple and brought me to the shelter where some doggies never leave! They had me since I was 8 weeks old! They said they no longer had time for me and somehow three cats came about at the residence I was in and they chose them over me. Doggies don’t just love their humans–they live for them. Imagine you’re sitting at home watching Netflix one day and someone tells you to get in the car. You think you’re going to get ice cream or pizza right? Now imagine you end up at shelter and never see your loved ones again? If I knew how to use tissues I would use them. I was so sad and felt so abandoned.

The worst part of it is my owner said that my personality was their favorite thing about me. They said I am “loving, mellow, playful, affectionate, house broken, energetic (hello, I’m 2), and knows how to walk on a leash.” I even lived well with two teenagers! We all know that’s not easy. All this made me confused and depressed at the shelter.

Thankfully the foster group that saved me has helped me trust again, but I’m a guy who likes to take things slow so I need to sniff your hand and say hi first. Same with other dogs, on a leash, I’m curious about them but want to know their story. Basically I’m a monogamist! That’s why they think I need someone who is patient or has some experience with guys like me who have had their heart broken. But I just KNOW there is the right human out there for me and together we can have a fun life together!

The foster group is really excited about my progress, so hurry up and meet me so they can tell you all
about me. Just like that ex who took your favorite t-shirt, I’m ready to move on and meet the real love of my life, my forever family. So call and ask to meet the apple of your eye today!

Apple is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
