Westchester, NY –

Bonjour! My name is Babas. I am an adorable (yet handsome), 50 pound, 1.5 year old Petite Basset Griffon. My breed comes from France, just like French Fries, which are awesome. And I am too! I would love for you to come meet me to see for yourself. We can drink wine, talk about art, eat croissants or just go for a walk and watch how well I sit when you tell me to.

Currently I am with my très chic foster family in Westchester and they wanted me to let you know that “I would be the wonderful addition to any family. Babas is loving, affectionate, house-trained and good with people. He is so cute and has stolen my heart and I know he will steal others.” Ooh la la!

I did not find the shelter to be magnifique but came around and now trust in how amazing so many humans are, like the volunteers there and at AmsterDog. I love to give love, but don’t always understand how little humans work so might do best in a house without small children for now. It’s still a little hard to know for sure but I one thing’s for sure, I love adult humans. I can be a little snooty (I am French!) when you try to take my toys and my food but I’m learning fast and getting better with it. Otherwise, I really am as delicious as french fries.

My previous owner left the country and while his life must be Pepé Le Pew without me, I am happy knowing that my true forever home is out there. So come meet me, the future amour of your life today at my wonderful foster home in Westchester, NY.

For additional photos, please visit Babas’ Facebook page or contact us for information or fill out an online application. And thanks for caring about this really special dog!
