Loyal, well mannered, playful, house trained Chase (fka Trampos) is a 2 year old, 54 lb. Dutch Shepherd mix who was surrendered to the city shelter when his master was injured and became unable to care for him. Chase was so well cared for and was very scared to be in the shelter, but lucked out by getting a loving foster home. Here is what his foster mom had to say about him:

Chase loves playing with other dogs, and just needs a little time to learn to trust the other dog. He is very loyal to his “person” and would be great with kids 12 and up. He is extremely smart and very trainable. He would do best with structure and a family that will stimulate his mind. Chase walks very well on a leash, and knows how to Sit and Lie Down. Chase would do best in a home with other dogs, as he just hates being left alone. However, with another dog present, he settles down and is not destructive.

Overall, he is a GREAT dog. He just needs to know that one person is his Alpha, to help build his confidence. Chase is a dog who is very into pleasing you and you can tell he becomes upset if he disappoints you. Very friendly with everyone he meets outside of the house. A breath of fresh air!”

In addition to all this, Chase is a beauty. His coat, shining under the sunlight, is quite exotic, mixing a variety of patterns. Stunning and elegant Chase is ready to start a new page in his life…with you, as his forever best friend.
