Meet Princess Scarlett – a beautiful red pittie saved from the nycacc in November that is just over a year old, weighs approximately 45 pounds and is full of life and love.

She is currently in foster with a trainer whose been working with her on obedience and behavior modification.

Here is her latest report:

“Princess is a very sweet girl, and has a very loving personality. When she is in the house, she is pretty calm and is perfectly happy grabbing a toy and just chillin’ out.”

“She loves to snuggle in bed, and be really close to her humans. She is more toy motivated then treat motivated, and she loves to play with her tennis balls!

While she is a very young girl and can get worked up and excited at times, she does get tuckered out easily with the right kind of play and stimulation…whether it is running the property, chasing the ball, or a leash training session.

She gets along well with other dogs, both female and male of all sizes, and is even ok around cats. However due to her strength, energy level and her love of her toys, Princess should go to a home without young children. An active home/lifestyle would be the most ideal environment for Princess to continue to thrive in, especially one with another active dog (or more) than she can play with!

“I absolutely love this little Pretty Pittie Princess and she’ll make a wonderful addition to that special forever family!”

This gorgeous red-nose beauty is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. Meet & greets can be arranged for those who can travel to the Scranton PA area.
