From Scrappy’s Foster Family:

Scrappy Doo, (formerly knows as Tottenham) is a very sweet 8 year old 50 lb. gentleman. Scrappy came into our rescue (so we thought) as a hospice case; however, we were proven wrong by this amazing boy. Scrappy was hit by a car and mostly like dragged by the tire, he had major lacerations to his spine and shoulder. He did suffer some neurologic damage, however he is quickly learning to overcome his once dismal outlook.

He is walking and even trying to run on his own and is learning to manage steps again. Scrappy is blind in one eye and has limited vision in the other. But with all these issues stacked against him, he remains a very happy go lucky boy whom adores everyone.

He is the BEST snuggler and gives big old pitty kisses! He just loves to follow us outside; he wears a special harness with a handle in case we need to help balance him from time to time. He really is an amazing pup to be able to overcome a tragic situation.

The vet thinks he will continue to improve over the next year. He is house trained and could not be any sweeter. However if he did have full sight, he would be cat aggressive (the cats mock him right now).

He is not neutered as we will need to monitor his outcome to see if he would be able to undergo anesthesia at a later time.
